Why Fillz exists
Fuel and charging are among the few things we buy almost blind. The price on the sign is only half the story, the station next door is often cheaper, and the “best” pump can quietly cost you more once you count the fuel you burn getting to it.
Fillz was built to close that gap. It turns a daily guess into a two-second answer: where should I go right now to pay the least, once the detour and any discounts I already have are counted. That is the whole idea, and everything else serves it.
How we build the data
Trust is the product. Here is exactly how a price reaches your screen, and why every station carries its source.
Official feeds
Where a country publishes station-level prices, we use the official feed directly, from DGEG in Portugal to ANP in Brazil, Osservaprezzi in Italy and dozens more. Each updates on its own schedule.
A community layer
Where no official source exists, we build the map the way the best local apps do: OpenStreetMap for the stations, plus driver reports and price photos anyone can confirm or flag.
Live EV networks
For charging we connect to official networks, such as MOBI.E via the national access point in Portugal, so you get real points and live free-connector counts, not guesses.
